Jerry has provided the following beautiful photo-


Etta Mae ROLAND / WILLISON / McELFISH

Born: July 26, 1891 Died: June 26, 1916
Jerry writes:

"Etta Mae originally married Charles O. WILLISON, s/o Alfred WILLISON & Allie TWIGG.
Charles was killed on July 20, 1910, in a farming accident. (The hayrake that he was riding hit a bump, threw him off, and the rake ran over him.) They had no children."
"Etta Mae then married my G-Grandfather, Gernia Hascal McELFISH.
They had one daughter, Hilda Laverne McELFISH on June 16, 1916.
Etta Mae died 10 days later. Hilda had had a twin that the doctor / midwife
hadn't known about, she had never been properly taken care of medical-wise,
and developed a fatal infection. She is buried in the Chaneysville Methodist Church
Cemetery, in Chaneysville, alongside my G-Grandfather, Gernia McELFISH." ___________________________________________________________________
