The first school in Bean's
Cove was built where the current Bean's Cove M E Church now stands.
This Walnut Grove School No. 2 was constructed about 1872 and
stands across the road from the current M E Church.

with some of the students identified, or perhaps a picture of
the school in it's earlier days, please consider putting it on
this page.
