William Henry Knee

All three of these pictures were taken in 1929, when William Henry Knee (1853 - 1932) and
family members returned for a visit to the M. E. Church & Cemetery in Chaneysville from Ohio
(where he moved sometime after 1911). William was a furniture maker and undertaker prior to his
move to Ohio. There are still many "Knee" chairs to be found in the Bedford County area, that
were originally made by William Knee.
